When machines fail us

If you’ve relied on information technology every day for years and years and have never had a computer break on you, you can consider yourself lucky. Hardware failure is when the actual electronic components you’re using stop working, and it can mean sudden expenses for your business, data loss and other troubles. Motors in hard disks and fans wear out, connections inside components can become loose over time and laptop batteries have a very limited lifespan. (more…)
